The ASRA LAST app serves as a valuable tool for healthcare providers, streamlining the application of the ASRA Checklist for the Treatment of Local Anesthetic Systemic Toxicity (LAST) during real-time patient scenarios or simulation training. This application is not only designed to facilitate the accurate dosing and timing of lipid emulsion in LAST events but also integrates essential Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) steps into a comprehensive treatment algorithm. Its development included collaboration with the ASRA Board and Dr. Guy Weinberg, a recognized authority in lipid emulsion therapy and director of LipidRescue.

• The app offers detailed, step-by-step instructions and reminders for critical events throughout the algorithm.
• It includes weight-based calculations for drug dosing, enhancing accuracy in treatment.
• Cyclic reminders are embedded for key actions including Pulse Recheck, CPR, and drug dosing.
• The app delineates different pathways for managing pulseless versus pulsatile toxicity events.
• Seizure management reminders are also incorporated within the platform.
• Accessible in-app quick reference links to the published Checklist, ASRA.com, and LipidRescue support users further.

Additionally, users can generate reports documenting all timed events logged during the app's usage. These reports can be saved, printed, or emailed according to user preferences. There is also an optional feature that allows users to submit their reports, along with demographic details, to LipidRescue. This facilitates Dr. Guy Weinberg's ongoing efforts to gather insights on this uncommon condition and improve clinical outcomes.
